Even though the first ever Prime Early Access Sale has ended, there's still some good discounts to be found from Amazon – and you don't even need to be a Prime member to claim them! Big discounts on the various Switch consoles are rare, so when one pops up you'll definitely want to grab it whilst stocks last. Below we have direct links to the best discounts that are still available.

There are three models of the Nintendo Switch: The OG Switch, the smaller Switch Lite and finally the shiny new Switch OLED. Not sure which console to choose? Kicking our Nintendo Switch live blog off is this deal on Amazon UK. Now, the original Nintendo Switch retails for £259, and this offer knocks a tenner off - now £249.

Now, you might be wondering why on earth we are telling you about a £10 saving - seems a bit rubbish, right? In actual fact, it's incredibly rare to see any money off the console alone, so this is very pleasant surprise. Nintendo consoles hold their value, so, a bit like Apple devices, any saving is not to be sniffed at.

Do you love videogames? Want to test your fitness against a big burly monster wearing a mesh spandex body suit? Of course you do. The Nintendo Ring Fit Adventure game is now on sale for $59.99, down from $81.99! There is very limited stock so make sure you snap it up quick! Best part is, you don't even need to be a Prime member to redeem this deal. Winner.

If you want to enjoy Nintendo's popular multiplayer games then extra Joy-Cons are a must, but they can be pretty pricey. Luckily for you avid Switch fans, right now you can grab the Neon Red/Blue Joy-Con pair from Amazon for just £58.99. Considering these neat little controllers usually retail at £74.99, this 21% saving is perfect for anyone who's been thinking about grabbing a pair.

And the Joy-Con deals don't stop with just the controllers themselves! There are plenty of bundle deals active for UK Prime members right now, including this fantastic set that includes the traditional neon red/blue Joy-Con pair and Turtle Beach Recon 500 Arctic Camo wired headset. Originally retailing at £144.98, this Prime-exclusive bundle is available right now for £88.98 which will save you £56! Phwoar.

US Prime members: I promise I haven't forgotten you! There aren't a bunch of great savings right now that side of the pond, but you can get a very modest $10 off with this bundle that includes the Nintendo Switch console and the ever-popular Mario Kart 8. That's a whopping 2% off the original price! You really are spoiling us, Nintendo.

If you're an Animal Crossing fan, we've found the perfect way for you to spend those bells (before Tom Nook steals them). Look, even with my cold dead heart I have to admit that this controller by KINVOCA is stinking cute. Just look at those lil' glowy ears! It's wireless, includes motion control and vibration functions and it's just straight up adorable. Prime members can save $9 and get this pad for $27.99 down from $36.99. Purr-fect.

Hey UK! Guess who's got some more deals coming your way.

We've got a truly magical deal for you here: Prime members can currently grab the Lego Harry Potter collection for Nintendo Switch for under half price. Originally selling for £43.99, the games are now only £16.79. This 52-per cent saving is one of the best game deals I've seen so far today, especially with a franchise as popular as Lego.

Do you like playing games, and lots of them? Do you keep having to delete other games to make more room for them? Do you like cute mushrooms? Then check out this impressive £26 saving taking the SanDisk 128GB Micro SD card down from £40.99 to just £14.99. Similar to the US deal I shared earlier, Prime members can save 63-per cent on this nifty little memory card to boost their console's storage. It's officially licensed and has a fun guy on it. What's not to like.

Another stellar UK deal coming in hot! Prime members can grab the shiny new Switch OLED bundled with the even newer Splatoon 3 for £316 instead of the usual £359.98. With a £43.98 discount, this is a hot deal when it comes to Switch savings. I'm sorry I ever doubted you, Nintendo.

If you fancy a more compact version of the popular Nintendo console, you can now grab the Yellow Switch Lite for £185 down from £199.99, saving you £14.99. And the best part is this is yet another deal that you don't even need to be a Prime member to redeem. Go go go!

I'm devastated to report that the standout Switch OLED deal that brought the console down to the lowest price ever has sold out. RIP, right? But rising from the ashes of that deal is a bundle deal to dream about.

The Switch OLED and Pokémon Arceus have been bundled together in a delightful package that will set you back just £299, down from the usual combined price of £359.98. That's £60.98 off, in case you needed it spelled out. And a cheaper deal than the Switch OLED's usual RRP. Do it now before it sells out, too.

We don't know if it was a glitch in the system or our eyes crossing from all the deals but the OLED deal is BACK IN THE UK! Grab yourself a Switch OLED for a record-low price of £292.99 and enjoy it. Oh! And you can get it in red/blue or white.

We're inching towards the end of the first day of Amazon's debut Prime Early Access sale in the UK, so here's a recap of where the best Switch deals stand. It should be no surprise that there are no massive Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals, but there are savings to be had.

Small savings on the newest console, the Nintendo Switch OLED have been coming and going, but right now you can save £18 on the Switch OLED in red/blue – now £292.99. However, for our money, it makes more sense to go for a Switch OLED bundle deal with Pokémon Arceus, reduced by £60.98 from £359.98 to Just £299, only a few pounds more than the deal on the console alone.

There's also a small £15 saving to be had on the Nintendo Switch Lite in yellow, reduced from £199.99 to £184.99. As for the original Switch console, it's selling on Amazon at the full £249. Amazon is claiming that this is a 17% discount, but we're not sure where it's got its numbers from because this is the RRP from Nintendo.

And the biggest Prime Day Nintendo Switch deal in the UK? Don't get too excited; it's a microSDXC card. But it's a SanDisk microSDXC card with Switch branding and approval, reduced by a whopping 63% from a ludicrous £40.99 to a much more reasonable £14.99 (not that unlike the deals on consoles, this one's for Prime members only).

Hold up, because a rival UK retailer has just beaten Amazon's best Nintendo Switch Prime Day deal in the UK. If you're still awake, now's your chance to save an extra few pounds!

As we mentioned in the last post, Amazon has a small discount on the Nintendo Switch OLED, but Very's just beaten that saving by three quid. Right now you can save £20 on the Nintendo Switch OLED at Very – now just £289. And that deal's available in both colours. The previous link will take you to the console in red/blue, but the same saving is also available on the white Switch OLED.

Over in the US, the biggest Nintendo Switch Prime Day deal so far is...

...yes, it's also a microSDXC card, like we've seen in the UK. But if you've splashed out full-price, or almost full price for a console, you don't want to have to spend through the nose to be able to take it up to a more reasonable storage capacity to ensure you have enough room for plenty of games, screenshots and video captures.

You should have no problems with space or speed with this zippy Animal Crossing-themed SanDisk 512GB card, which is reduced from an astronomical $129.99 to the Prime deal price of $67.99 – a saving of $62.

What's the difference between a Nintendo-approved card and a regular microSDXC card? As well as the cute design, it's actually more about the warranty, since regular cards often aren't covered for devices in which the card is a primary drive.

Fortunately, a lone microSDXC isn't the only Nintendo Switch Prime Day deal that we're seeing in the US (although it is the only members-only deal so far).

If you're looking for games and accessories for Nintendo Switch, there are a few small but welcome savings. Amazon has $10 off Ring Fit Adventure – now $69.88 (this is one of those strange ones where you have to add the product to your cart before it will let you see the price). It's a novel game that will have you running and high-kneeing it through dozens of levels using the Ring-Con and Leg Strap accessories (yes, you'll look ridiculous, but it's a fun way to get some exercise).

As for more traditional games, Amazon has a third off the price on a range of Nintendo Switch games, and 37% off a pairing of Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – reduced from $119.98 to $74.99. That's a massive saving of $44.99 on two digital download codes.

We're coming to the end of the first day of the 48-hour Prime Early Access Sale, and your best options for a saving on a console are through bundles, either with games or with memory cards.

For the original switch, we're tempted by a bundle offer that gets you the Nintendo Switch with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for $339.98 – a saving of $20. You can also get the Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for $349.93, saving $10 on what it would cost to buy the console and the game at full price.

For the super portable Switch Lite, the best deal is the console bundled with a SanDisk microSDXC card for $218.49, a reduction of $16.49.

And the Switch OLED? We're sorry to say Amazon has no discounts on the newest console in the US, but it does have the Switch OLED in stock for $349.99 – the recommended retail price.

Good morning everyone! I'm primed (hah) and ready for hopefully some shiny new deals today in the last day of the Amazon Early Access Sale. Yesterday saw a lot of games and accessories drop in price with a few consoles thrown in, so let's see what goodies we can grab today.

The cheapest Switch deal I seem to be seeing right now is this Nintendo Switch OLED bundle that includes a digital code for Sports Party. Originally going for £323.98, the new £298.95 price tag will save you £25. I'll be honest: I've never actually heard of Sports Party, but considering this bundle is cheaper than buying just the Switch OLED at RRP we're not going to complain about having a free game thrown into the mix (even if it is just a digital download code).

The very first deal we reported on in this live blog is still active! There's still time to grab the OG neon red and blue Nintendo Switch console for £249 down from the RRP of £299.99. A £50 saving is impressive in Nintendo terms, so I'm surprised this deal is still going. With the approach of Christmas, Nintendo Switches are always incredibly popular so finding good deals between now and December can be tricky. So if you've been considering grabbing the console ahead of the seasonal period, now's the perfect time.

There are currently some great game discounts active for both Prime and non-Prime members if you're looking for something new to play. Check out some of the best savings I've found right now.

Gotta catch 'em all! Here's a hot Prime exclusive for you Pokemon fans: right now Prime members can pre-order Pokemon Scarlet with the shiny new Neon Switch OLED for £316.95. Originally priced at £359.98, this deal will save you over £40 for a game that isn't even out yet! Wowzah! Saying that though, be aware the game doesn't come out until the end of November so you'll have to be patient...

How it feels looking for US Amazon Nintendo Switch deals right now.

I'll admit defeat for the time being. I'm not seeing any major US discounts from Amazon right now worth writing home about. But! I have managed to find a pretty good price on the official Nintendo Switch Pro controller. Amazon lists the Pro pad for $69.99, but right now you can pick it up from Walmart for a mere $38.54. I love this controller: it's a really nice alternative to the Joy-Cons and feels really nice to use when the console is in TV mode. Not a bad find, if I do say so myself.

Just as we thought all hope was lost.. There's a Lite at the end of the tunnel! Literally. It's a Switch Lite. You can grab this nice little bundle that includes the turquoise Switch Lite and officially licensed Nintendo 128GB microSD card for $218.49, saving you over $16. It's certainly no ground breaking discount, but it's something.

Do you like neon green? Do you like pink? Do you like Joy-Cons? Then you're in luck! UK buyers can now grab a pair of the neon green and pink Joy-Cons for £58.99. These usually sell for £69.99, so if my maths is correct that's a saving of £11. Groovy.

WE'VE GOT A NEW UK DEAL EVERYONE, and it's a goodun! It might actually be the best bundle I've seen yet from Amazon. Prime members can get the red and blue Nintendo Switch OLED bundled with the LEGO Harry Potter Collection for £291.95: that's a saving of over £50. But be quick; this deal ends in a few short hours.

Animal Crossing fans can pick up a fancy themed wireless controller right now on sale. Grab the KK Slider themed pad from Amazon for $43.43 instead of the usual $59.99, saving you over $16. I personally have a PowerA controller and actually prefer it over the official Nintendo Pro pad: they're super comfy and have a nice finish to them.

As we nearly draw Amazon's Early Access event to a close, let's take a look at a round up of the best deals that are still active right now.

The Amazon Prime Early Access sale will be coming to an end in a few hours, so we'll be leaving you soon. We've not come across new Nintendo Switch Prime Day deals during this second day of the event, but the good news is that as we sign off the deals listed above are still live.

Our pick of the best Nintendo Switch Prime Day deals in the US remains the Nintendo Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe bundle for $359.98 $349.93 – a saving of $10.05. There's also a Nintendo Switch Lite + SanDisk 128GB microSDXC card bundle for $234.98 $218.49, saving you $16.49.

In the UK, the best Prime Day Nintendo Switch deal isn't even from Amazon; it's from Very. There's still a very nice little saving on the Nintendo Switch OLED – now £309 £289 – a discount of £20.
